2020 Page 48, What We Are Learning With the Coronavirus
This is one page to be included in the Marcelo M. annual paper about an important thing that happened this year.
Marcelo M. is one of my dearest friends and colleagues. We were both born on the same day, month and year and country and attended the same class of civil engineering in Brazil.
“I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.
Delicious Ambiguity.” ― Gilda Radner
What A Great Time To Be Grateful
2020
What a year!
And we are strong in the middle of this pandemic.
It all began in February…
I was in California when I canceled places to go, things to do…not to be in contact with other people.
My daily routine for walking to Starbucks was no longer possible.
I was afraid of everyone… the post office man, the neighbor, the cleaning ladies …
Many people suffered from many hardships both physically and mentally.
