Three days in June

Parque das Nações. Lisboa. Photo by the author. 2024.

I went straight toward the Tagus River walking across the shopping. This is the "Parque das Nações", Lisbon.

Recently I made a trip by train from Porto to Lisbon.

The Alfa pendular comfort 1st class is easy and tranquil.

It takes almost 3 horas from Campanhã station in Porto to Oriente station in Lisbon.

The train has wifi you can work during the trip. I felt a little dizzy and had to stop my work.

When arriving in the city… the Orient station is connected to the Vasco da Gama shopping mall and the metro station.

Lisbon

If you take the subway the first thing anyone will notice is the art poetry and murals of the metro stations. They inspire people all day long.

Metro station, Blue Line. Lisbon. Photo by the author. 2024.

On the wall written in Portuguese on blue azulejos (tile art)…

"A verdade que eu conto, nua e pura vence toda grandiloca escritura." Luis de Camões, Os Luziadas.
