The Butterfly Effect. It’s about how tiny changes in big systems can have complex results.

The title is a question made by Edward Lorenz in…1972 at the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences. 139th meeting.

“There must be chaos within yourself to be able to give birth to a dancing star.”
- Friedrich Nietzsche

The Butterfly Effect

In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state. Wikipedia.

The Chaos Theory

Chaos Theory is a contradiction… a science of predicting the behavior of “inherently unpredictable” systems.

Chaos theory is a mathematical theory that can be used to explain complex systems such as weather, economics, politics, and astronomy.
