Here I am supposing that I have been hired to design the facades of a new modernist building project mid-way through the design process. I'm an engineer, not an architect.
The building’s function is multi-purpose, and it will be located in an urban area with a mix of old and new buildings.
The goal is to create a facade that is not only visually stunning but also functional, sustainable and integrates seamlessly with the surrounding architecture.
Keeping these factors in mind, I designed facade options that showcase modernist design principles while hoping it is meeting the needs of the building and the surrounding community.
Art has been an integral part of human expression for centuries.
It has the power to evoke emotions, change perspectives, and even inspire social change.
It has been in my life for quite some time.
