Generative art is a type of abstract art that relies on algorithms to create the final product.

The artist provides the program with parameters (an aerial photo, and others inputs), for the piece and then lets it run, creating variations on the theme.

This is a photo of the city of Fortaleza.

It was taken at 2 AM from above. The city was seen at 36,000 feet, in a plane coming from England to Guarulhos, SP.

Fortaleza has a population of over 2 million people who speak Portuguese and it’s one of the most important tourist destinations in Brazil.
