Robert Delaunay was a French artist. Born: 12 April 1885. Dead: 25 October 1941. He was one of the Orphist school of painters, who combined Cubism and abstraction.

The use of strong colors and geometric shapes. His key influence related to bold use of color and a clear love of experimentation with both depth and tone.
