How About Maximalism Style: Lots of Objects
The opposite of minimalism. When more is more.
Maximalism is an aesthetic style or philosophy that embraces excess, and a sense of abundance or “more is more.”
It is the opposite of minimalism.
Minimalism is a style in art and design, that uses the smallest range of materials and colors possible, and only simple shapes or forms.
Maximalism can be seen in interior design with heavily patterned wallpapers, layers of textiles, colorful artworks, bold furniture pieces, and accumulated decor.
Maximalism is about drama.
But most of all it's supposed to be a storyteller and the idea that objects hold stories within.
Vibrant, saturated hues and clashing color combinations are common in maximalist decor and fashion.
Also, Maximalist spaces frequently mix vintage and modern pieces.
