If you want to buy an NFT — such as a digital art piece — you first need to open a crypto wallet, buy crypto, then use it to purchase an NFT in an online marketplace like OpenSea or Mintable.
Create a Metamask account or connect your other wallet.
MetaMask is a cryptocurrency wallet used to interact with the Ethereum blockchain. Once you buy Ethereum, you can access it through MetaMask and use it to purchase and store NFTs.
Use Coinbase to buy Ethereum because you need to have Ethereum in your wallet in order to buy an NFT.
