A facade, or façade, is generally one exterior side of a building, usually the front. It is a foreign loan word from the French façade, which means “frontage” or “face”. Wikipedia.
In architecture, the facade of a building is often the most important aspect of a design, it sets the tone for the rest of the building.
This is the Facade of the Administration Building for the Textile Association of MÜNSTER, Germany.

The architecture firm’s intention was to connect the facade to the association function and work.
It has been built for the association of the northwest german textile and garment industry in Münster, Germany.
That’s why it is a facade with a textile appearance.
