How to Use an Airfryer to Cook Salmon
Cooking Time
It's easier to find salmon than bacalhau…
Let's fry a piece of salmon for dinner.
Here are the steps to use an air fryer to cook salmon:
- Prepare the salmon:
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
Season the salmon with your desired spices, herbs, or marinade.
Some good options are salt, pepper, garlic powder, lemon juice, or a simple olive oil and herb mixture.
2. Preheat the air fryer:
Set the air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
Allow it to preheat for 3–5 minutes.
3. Cook the salmon:
Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking.
Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
Air fry the salmon for 8–12 minutes, flipping the fillets halfway through the cooking time.
The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
