Mandragone, the World’s Tallest Carbon Sink Tower, a Residential Building Proposed for Roosevelt Island
Roosevelt Island, my beloved island, and its biggest architectural concept.
Can this project over populate the Island before 2050 and make it sink in the East River?
How does this big building project get anyone crazy? But the Island is over rocks…talking about geology.
A new future construction project in Roosevelt Island is planned and looks fantastic.
Mandragore: The world’s highest carbon sink tower proposed for New York, USA is a project by French Rescubika.
Roosevelt Island changed so much after I first went to live there in early 199s.
I lived there for 15 years. And I want to come back someday.
Roosevelt Island is a narrow island in New York City’s East River, within the borough of Manhattan.
The island is between Manhattan to its west and the borough of Queens, on Long Island, to its east. And it’s running from the equivalent of East 46th to 85th Streets on Manhattan Island.
It is narrow, about 2 miles (3.2 km) long, with a maximum width of 800 feet (240 m), and a total area of 147 acres (0.59 km2).
