Mannerism, or Late Renaissance is a style in European art that emerged in the later years of the Italian High Renaissance 1520–1530.

The Style of Northern Mannerism is largely derived from Italian Mannerism, it were found in the Netherlands and elsewhere from around the mid-century, especially Mannerist ornament in architecture.

Northern Mannerism is the form of Mannerism found in the visual arts north of the Alps in the 16th and early 17th centuries.

Late Renaissance or Mannerism is like a bridge style between the High Renaissance and the Baroque period. It adopted the ornate aesthetic and adapted it as extravagance.
