Ruskin in 1863

John Ruskin was the leading English art critic of the Victorian era, as well as an art patron, draughtsman, philosopher, prominent social thinker and philanthropist.

He wrote on subjects of geology, architecture, myth, ornithology, literature, education, botany and political economy.

He was born in 8 February 1819 and died in 20 January 1900.
