The concept of integrity through actions goes back way further though.
Michel de Montaigne, a philosopher from the 1500s, wrote: “Saying is a different thing from doing.”
The difference between words and actions.
In almost all cases, the difference between these two is using knowledge from the past to create a different outcome in the future.
Talking about a problem is reactive, but doing something about it is proactive.
