Remembering now my 2020 time with coffee.

Quarantine? I think we’ll be in quarantine much long than I imagined.

What is it for? It’s a restriction on the movement of people and goods which is intended to prevent the spread of disease or pests.

History.

The practice of quarantine, as we know it, began during the 14th century in an effort to protect coastal cities from plague epidemics. Ships arriving in Venice from infected ports were required to sit at anchor for 40 days before landing. This practice, called quarantine, was derived from the Italian words quaranta giorni which mean 40 days. From CDC.

I used to go to a local Starbucks almost every day. Walking for about 30 min between cars and trees.

It was like my popup studio and my office.

And time for a big size Chai Tea Latte and sometimes an afternoon Green Tea Frappuccino.
