The Case of the Oil, an Environmental Accident.
It has a secret or yet unknown origin?
Since early September, oil slicks have hit the coast of northeastern Brazil.
150 beaches of more than 60 cities of the northeastern coast have been affected until now.
Nobody knows for sure where that oil came from.
This environmental accident is already considered, by extension, the largest in history on the Brazilian coast.
Was it from a wreck?
Leaked from a ship? Would a ghost vessel without a locator be responsible for the disaster that hit the northeastern coast?
These are hypotheses that the Navy and Brazilian scientists are investigating to decipher this puzzle.
Another hypothesis, which may or may not involve a ghost ship:
a cargo transfer on the high seas, which has gone wrong.
Maybe the answer is on the bottom of the ocean at 5,000 m deep, 500 miles from the coast of Recife, PE.
