Coffee beans from different countries or regions can usually be distinguished by differences in flavor, aroma, body, acidity, and texture.

These taste characteristics are dependent not only on the coffee’s growing region but also on genetic subspecies and processing.

Brazil is the biggest coffee producer.

With its ideal climate for coffee farming, Brazil has established itself as a dominant force in the global coffee industry.

The country alone accounts for almost 40% of the world’s coffee production, thanks in part to the vast coffee plantations that span over 27,000 square kilometers.

The majority of these plantations are located in Minas Gerais, São Paulo, and Parana, where the climate is perfectly suited for coffee cultivation.

One unique aspect of Brazilian coffee production is the traditional method of drying the coffee cherries in the sun rather than washing them.

This process, known as unwashed coffee, sets Brazil apart from most coffee-producing countries.
