“If a project is intense, valid, and has a powerful idea, its imperfections will be in the background” — Alberto Campo Baeza.

The Romanesque style was from the 6th to the 11th century.

In the 12th century, it developed into the Gothic style, marked by pointed arches.

Romanesque architecture can be found across the continent, making it the first pan-European architectural style since Roman architecture.

The Romanesque style in England is traditionally referred to as Norman architecture.

Romanesque architecture is known for its massive quality, thick walls, round arches, sturdy pillars, barrel vaults, large towers, and decorative arcading.

Romanesque architecture describes the architecture of Europe which emerged from the dark ages of the late tenth century and evolved into the Gothic style during the twelfth century.
