Does Slootmotor help stop global warming?

This motorbike only needs dirty water to ride. It’s an innovation by Engineer Gijs Schalkx.
Engineer Gijs Schalkx, the inventor of Slootmotor, found the right formula to get the methane that fuels his innovative motorcycle.

Stagnant water from a pond, or a river is all it takes to make this bike go…

Any lake or pond with stagnant water and abundant vegetation at the bottom can be converted into a makeshift fuel station for this vehicle.

Schalkx uses a bottle with a float that captures methane by removing what is at the bottom of a pond.

Then he uses a hand pump to take the methane to the tank that is installed at the rear of the bike.

It is an ecological solution.

With this system, the Slootmotor is not an emission-free vehicle, as it converts methane into CO2 in order to be able to drive.

Because methane is a much more contaminating gas, it can actually be considered an ecological solution.
