It’s all in the design.

From the use of color to the materials used, there are several ways artists, retailers can differentiate themselves in a covid era.

The next level is experience design.

I invented the term because I thought human interface and usability were extremely good. I wanted to cover all aspects of the person’s experience with the system including industrial design graphics, the interface, the physical interaction, and the manual. Since then the term has spread widely, so much so that it is starting to gain its meaning.

— Donald Norman

Experience design focus on people’s needs, contexts, feelings, and mindsets to design experiences that are important to the user.

It is a kind of design that focuses on people’s experiences.

These experiences could be anything… about products, processes, and strategies.

It can be a new product, an interactive display at a coffee place, in a restaurant, or an informational website.

A new transactional way to purchase.

A new kind of customer support…via WhatsApp, or other ways.

Also, experience design can also be a business strategy.
