Renzo Piano, Ufficiale OMRI (born 14 September 1937 in Genoa) is an Italian Pritzker Prize-winning architect.

The starchitect’s father was a construction worker.

And Piano experimented with many of the profession’s principles and had practical experience in the field from a very young age.

His most known projects include Hermes Maison in Tokyo, The Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, Morgan Library, New York Times, Guggenheim Museum in New York, and NEMO Museum in Amsterdam.
