Why the Bells of the World Have to Ring
It’s time to ring the bells to stop the war.
Ring the bells that still can rings. — Leonard Cohen.
Notre-Dame de Paris has 10 church bells.
There are 10 church bells (on the top), in the cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris, all of which are mounted in the two main bell towers.
Notre Dame used to have other smaller bells in the spire and within the roof, but these were destroyed in a fire in 2019.

The original spire was built from 1220 to 1230. It was supported by an “ingenious” and “well designed” system of frames, according to an examination of its remains after it was taken down.
This spire functioned as a bell tower. It was 78 meters (256 ft) from the floor of the Church to the point of the Spire.
